Panic, pathetic, internal dialogue
Dramatic, pragmatic, lack of control
Swimming in emotion so thick I cannot breathe
Fight against the current, drowning endlessly
Make it through another day, make it look alright
Hanging on with bony fists, white knuckles, hold on tight
Darkness rises, fear takes control
Manic depression, my head is a prison
Total fixation with isolation
Massive regression, my head is a prison
Unclean obsession, my annihilation
Pills, prescriptions, doctors, chemists, phychs
Notes in session, are you feeling alright?
Their words, degrees, they don't understand
What I'm going through, the madness that I am
No end, no cure, no release, must endure
Walk it off, talk it out, chin up son it'll be alright
It won't be alright
Manic depression, my head is a prison
Total fixation with isolation
Massive regression, my head is a prison
Unclean obsession, my annihilation
There's a cancer growing inside my soul
Fighting me to take control
Eating from the inside out
Taking form through fear and doubt
With a sound that has been compared to early Testament, Dark Angel and Sacred Reich DESECRATOR’s twin guitar attack,
punishing rhythm section and blood soaked vocals have won over the old guard of staunch metal fans as well as recruiting a new wave of young thrashers....more
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
The incredible thing about this LP is how they managed to keep the quality, since Origins (2013) untill now "(...) the Final age" Simply amazing. But if you're wondering what I'm talking about, listen to it from start to end, then, go back to its Origins and do the same. Experience yourself those magnificent riffs and lyrics holding the strings so tight claiming a place in the podium of "New Wave of Thrash" MediZen
